The Faculty of Arts, Creative Industries, and Education at UWE Bristol presents a fantastic chance to apply for a Dean’s Bursary. The institution is now accepting applicants for the 2022/2023 academic year. The Dean’s Bursary is a £1,000 stipend for the first two years of study at UWE Bristol, aiming to increase participation in higher education and assist students in achieving their goals.

Five bursaries will be awarded to students who reside in historically underserved areas for higher education. In addition, they invite students to produce a piece of project work related to increasing participation in higher education using the skills they will gain on their course in exchange for this money.

Overview Of University of West England

The University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE Bristol) is a public research university in Bristol, England, founded in 1992. Like the Universities of Bristol and Bath, it can trace its roots back to the Merchant Venturers’ Technical College, which was established as a school by the Society of Merchant Venturers in 1595.

UWE Bristol is made up of various campuses located around Greater Bristol. Frenchay Campus has the most students since it houses most university courses. Bower Ashton Studios, Arnolfini, Spike Island, and Watershed are part of the City campus, which offers courses in the creative and cultural sectors. The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School is connected with the university, which approves its higher education degrees.

Most of the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences is centered on Frenchay and Glenside campuses, with an additional Adult Nursing cohort based on Gloucester Campus. Animal sciences, sport, equestrian, agriculture, and conservation are all taught at Hartpury Campus. The Teaching Excellence Framework granted the institution Gold in 2018.
